Cayuga Health, an affiliate of Centralus Health, is proud to announce a generous $1,000 donation made by Watkins Glen International’s Racing and Community Enrichment (RACE) Foundation to Gorges Givers, which partners with the Schuyler Health Foundation to support local women undergoing cancer treatment.
Gorges Givers, founded in 2023, provides financial assistance to women in the Schuyler County area facing cancer, covering expenses not supported by insurance. Since its inception, the organization has raised more than $80,000 – an impact further strengthened by the RACE Foundation’s Contribution.
“Watkins Glen International has been a great supporter of ours, at our fundraisers, and all the community support has made our program very successful,” said Lisa Phillips, President of Gorges Givers.
“This donation represents the very best of community partnership,” said Kim Sprague, Director of the Schuyler Health Foundation. “The generosity of Watkins Glen International and the dedication of Gorges Givers make it possible for us to support women during one of the most challenging times of their lives. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to our patients.”
Centralus Health extends its appreciation to Watkins Glen International’s RACE Foundation for their ongoing community support and to Gorges Givers for their unwavering dedication to local women in need.
