Financial Assistance

When you or someone you love needs hospital care, you have enough to worry about without the added concern of how to pay for it. Centralus Health is committed to providing excellent care regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. If you are considering financial assistance to help cover the costs of your care, you may be eligible for free or low cost, State or Federally funded insurance programs like Medicaid. A financial counselor can refer you to someone who can help you apply for these programs.

Whether you are uninsured or insured, you may qualify for full or partial financial assistance if your household income is at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level for the 48 Contiguous States & D.C. To see if your household income qualifies please visit: aspe.hhs.gov

No Surprises Act

The No Surprises Act protects patients from unexpected medical bills by limiting what they can be charged for certain out‑of‑network services. When you receive care at one of our facilities, you are entitled to clear, upfront information about your potential costs. Our goal is to make your billing experience transparent, predictable, and free of unwelcome surprises, so you can focus on your health rather than unexpected expenses.

Price Transparency

Price transparency helps patients understand the cost of their care before they receive it, and we’re committed to making that information as clear and accessible as possible. In accordance with federal requirements, our health system provides detailed pricing resources including Machine‑Readable Files (MRFs) that list standard charges for all items and services we provide. These files are designed for researchers, regulators, and third‑party developers who need comprehensive data, while patients can use our consumer‑friendly tools to view estimates for common procedures and compare costs. Together, these resources support informed decision‑making and give you a clearer picture of what to expect financially when seeking care.
